I live in Virginia, but here I am in beloved Scotland!

I have lived in the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia since 2001, nestled between the Shenandoah River and Blue Ridge Mountains, which provides endless inspiration for my mosaic designs. I have worked for the Town of Berryville, Virginia, in a number of capacities, currently as Community Development Director. I love to travel, cycle, hike with my dogs, and make art. I believe that art shapes our every day lives and allows us to recall memories of a time, a place, a person. It can make a social statement. It can create a mood. It presents and preserves history. It can be therapeutic to both the artist and patron. It elicits emotion and new perspectives. It is interpretive to each individual viewer.
